Meet the Team
Our team are highly trained in many areas and are happy to look after your general health and more specific requirements. We are dedicated to listening to you, discussing your physical and mental concerns in an honest and open fashion. We will provide you with up to date, evidence-based medical advice to make informed choices when it comes to managing your health.

​For many years our practice has been involved in the education of medical students and students may visit the practice to observe consultations as part of their curriculum. We always advise patients in advance if a student is present and will only invite a student to observe your consultation with your full permission.​
​
​The practice is also a training practice for specialist trainees in general practice from the Irish College of General Practitioners training scheme. These trainees are qualified experienced doctors and are undertaking further experience and training in general practice. They remain in the practice from periods of 6 months to 1 year.
Our GPs
Dr June Coates
Dr. Coates has been working in general practice for over 25 years, more than 20 of which have been with us here in Arklow Medical Practice. She has special interests in Women's Health, Minor Surgery and GP Training.
Dr Ian Bothwell
Dr. Bothwell has over 35 years experience in general practice, 30 of which have been with us here in Arklow Medical Practice. He has special interests in Occupational Health, Musculoskeletal Medicine and GP Training.
Dr Cheryl Tuliao
Dr. Tuliao has been working with Arklow Medical Practice since 2020 and joined the practice as a partner in 2024. She has a special interest in Chronic Disease Management (in particular Diabetes), Paediatrics, Women's Health, Dementia & Geriatrics.
Practice Manager
Carole Murray
Carole joined Arklow Medical Practice in 2011 following a 12 year career in hospital administration. She took over as Practice Manager in 2019. She has a passion for organisation and efficiency.
