Musculoskeletal Medicine & Joint Injections
Musculoskeletal medicine is a specialised medical field dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of problems arising from the musculoskeletal system. This includes injuries and diseases affecting the muscles, bones and joints of the limbs and spine.
Examples of the conditions we treat are arthritis, sports injuries, tennis elbow, achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, hip pain as well as back pain and neck pain including slipped or prolapsed discs, and numerous other conditions.
Make an appointment today for a full physical exam, referral for scans if required and a range of treatment options to tackle your pain. We liaise with local physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, radiologists and dieticians to provide a multidisciplinary approach to injury and activity.

We can also provide anti-inflammatory injections to ease joint and soft tissue pain where necessary, which are covered by most private health insurers. Unfortunately this cost is not covered by medical or doctor visit cards.
